Morelia, day 3

This is an old Jesuit church, built in 1695, now used as a university library housing old books dating back to the 15th century.

Another university building

An old Jesuit school, now an art museum

Originally a Dominican convent, now a music school.

View of the cathedral from a side street

An 18th-century seminary, now housing government offices. Lots of murals about Mexico's history.

Inside the cathedral

Square beside the cathedral.

There are lots of places in Morelia selling gaspachos. It generally consists of diced mango, pineapple and jicama with orange & lime juice, vinegar, salt, chili sauce, onion and grated cheese. It's delicious & refreshing!

Another shot of the cathedral.

In the evening we lounged at a cafe on this square.
